Bond in the Mission

Bond and his three voluptuous females. :) Another sucessful mission. I am Bon, James Bon. :)

Plymouth in Summer

Oh dear, this was taken with the A40. Year 2003

Self Portrait

In an attempt to make a self portrait, I "mistakenly" pointed the camera backward, and "voila" this is the masterpiece I obtained. Not bad, not bad at all. Yes, I am the shadow. Remember, Babylon 5?

Kong's Birthday Went Berserk

Nah..., this is the aftermath of too much drinking ! Notice, the smelly leg?

Kong's Birthday

Kong's birthday!!! The middle guy. What is that "Garban"
doing here? For the uninitiated, Garban=Japanese version of the Power Ranger.

Yum Yum, My Precious.

May eating the fresh cream cake.

Nature's Own Submarine

Taken in the Cadiff's museum. Boring but at least, it is free. :) Can't remember the name of this creature, which lived a few millions years ago. ******saurus. Mother of the submarine. ;) Now, what is left is just a collection of nice looking skeletons.

Fan beams?

Polar to Cartessian transformation. Look at all the gaps. This is achieved using one f*** up technique. A better technique, based on inverse transformation has been implemented and it looks alot better than this image.

Abstract Art

A picture extracted from the raw data of AT50o sonar, it is still in the polar native form. Looks like an abstract art to me. :(

Smeaton's Tower

Taken in Plymouth Hoe, on a very nice sunny day. Use RAW to capture this scene, owing to the excessive dynamic range. Anyway, summer is finally knocking at the door.

Theseus Under Ice

No this is not a greek god, contrary, nothing to do with it. Greek god does not enjoy swimming below the polar cap in subzero temperature. This is a cool AUV. Shall I say a cool picture.

FarSounder 3D Sonar

This is my dream 3D underwater sonar, cost US$150K. OMG.
Still waiting for my AT500 sonar from J&S Marine. Rubbish product indeed.
