Bath

Wassif and I in Bath. Oppps, to be precise, should be Dr. Neem. Wassif just completed his P.h.D last December, so I shall take this opportunity to wish him the best of luck for his future. Me... I am trying very hard to finish in this year. :( Oh, dear, should stop typing now, or else I will fail my P.h.D. Back to boring programming for now. :(

English Pub

This is another pub, now we ate alot here. I will tell you why, cause everything is being paid for! :) The best thing in life is free. I ate the steak, the pudding, the tart, anything I can get my hands on. :) Another glutton.

Dinner During Medieval Time

We have been invited to this castle for a meal. The service was good, real good, but the food was subpar to say the least. Anyway, I think we paid for the service and not the food. One of my friend, Dino, was so thirsty that he drank the liquid from the big white bowl, only to discover that it was washing liquid. :) Ha...so much about P.h.D. (Permanent Head Damage).

China Vs China

This happens when a chinese meets another chinese! Left, Zheng Ping from the University of Southampton and right Mei Hong from the University of Plymouth. Mei Hong completed his P.h.D from the legendary Imperial College, now he is working with ABB. Wishing both of them the best of luck.

Goddess Athena

Oopss, another picture of a sexy women. :) Sorry, just a bit of harmless fun. I found this statute in the break & breakfast where I stayed for the conference. I think she is the Goddess Athena, or maybe Venus, or just a typical Greek women. You guest.

TOP SECRET

Archerfish, a codename for the Royal Navy's underwater mines countermeasure unit. Notice the two small rotors hanging on the side of the hull, they are used in hovering mode, thus allowing the vehicle a full 6 DOF control. Nonetheless, this system is not really intelligent, it is basically an expensive remote control system. :(

My First Conference

This picture was taken during my first conference in Newport, Wales at April 2003. I was presenting my final year project then. I told you that I am running out of story to tell.

Waiting

A picture I took in front of the University of Plymouth last December. Yes, just another pathetic attempt to prove my existence. :( Double decker, double decker... ummmm...singing.
